So I just discovered the new Pier 15 park at the South Street Seaport!
It’s so beautiful, and has such an amazing view of Brooklyn.
Dear NYC parks & recreation department, You’re doing it right!
A fresh homemade salad, a gorgeously sunny day and a great view of Brooklyn. Not a bad lunch.

Since last season had so many talented queens I was a little worried about how this season’s girls would stand up to the challenge. After watching this week’s season 4 premiere episode I can already tell that some stand out as fierce Heathers and some are straight-up boogers. But my favorite part of this new season is that RuPaul isn’t taking any shit. She is judging, judging, judging and I love every second of it. The steaks are high this year and my girl Ru isn’t playing any games.Mel B Hints at a Spice Girls Reunion for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee
First of all I love Mel B so effing much. “HEY! Are you showing my bedroom?! That’s my private lovemaking bedroom area.” & “On Top Ladies, Always!”
She is non-stop hysterical. If you missed her reality show “It’s a Scary World” you totally missed out on a good time.
Y’all know I would be happier than anyone if The Spice Girls were to actually reunite, but I won’t believe it until Victoria or Mel C start talking about it.

“I wish I could bake a cake filled with rainbows and smiles and everyone would eat and be happy.”

Hipster Trap - How amazing is this!!
Besides the cigarettes I would totally go for everything in there. What does that say about me?

What I learned from watching Queer As Folk for the first time.
It’s true, last night was the first time I’ve watched Queer As Folk. I only watched the first 3 or 4 episodes so far and I hear it gets much better, but here is what I’ve learned.
- Fashion in the late 90’s was terrible
- Gay bars have always been creepy and cruisy even from the beginning of time (The late 90’s)
- If I had watched this when it aired I wouldn’t have had to learn the hard way about most things. (ie. That time I finally asked “What the fuck is a popper?”)
- If you are forward and an asshole people will have sex with you. (i.e. Bringing someone home and then taking off all of your clothes and pouring water on yourself )
- Only do drugs with your friends because they are the only ones who give a fuck about you.
- Never let your mother work at a diner in the gayborhood
- The production quality an dialogue writing in porn isn’t so bad after all.
- The L Word is better
Clear for iPhone - I NEED THIS NOW!
I really hope this works with “Reminders” in some way or synchs to a calendar, but even without… it’s just so pretty.

Everyone has been taunted or teased in school at one time or another. We all remember what it feels like to be put down or embarrassed in front of our friends and peers. Whether made fun of be for your height, weight, taste in music, sexual orientation or simply for being different it’s never a good feeling to be made fun of. James Howe’s book “The Misfits,” which depicts a group of teased kids banning together to make a change in their school, inspired the start of what we know today as GLSEN’s No Name-Calling Week. If we ban together like the group in the book, we can make a difference around bullying in schools today.
