LA (from a NYC perspective)
A few PROs and CONs that I jotted down while in LA:
PROS
- the weather is beautiful
- people are very chill (not as fake as I’ve heard)
- houses are very eclectic and cool (the homes on the canals in Venice, CA are AMAZING)
- not far to drive anywhere (it’s a big small city.)
- beach is… RIGHT THERE
- mountains are… RIGHT THERE
- weather is gorgeous
- west hollywood, los feliz, venice, OH MY! all the little neighborhoods are SO different (much like NYC)
- oh… and the weather… GORGEOUS
CONS
- you have no choice but to drive everywhere - pub transit SUCKS (so you can’t get wasted)
- streets are scary empty at night… so again… walking = not an option
- in-n-out burger sucks (sorry, I was unimpressed)
- people are a bit slow, in mind and body (chill is great, but wake the fuck up! I have places to go and things to do)
- garbage cans? (I had to walk 5 or so blocks on main streets to find garbage cans)
- wait where am I?… I like my streets to be numbered thank you
Do you all agree?
